
Dr. Lechner, founder of the Prisma centre, is an experienced dentist who blends art and science. A trailblazer when it's called for, but conservative when necessary, Dr. Lechner has been practising dentistry for more than 25 years, including 20 in his own practice, where a team of 25 specialists now work. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Lechner personally offers dental esthetics, implantology, snoring and sleep apnea treatment and neuromuscular dentistry. He is also interested in the analysis of the temporomandibular joint, occlusion and their link with posture. He is an adept of pain-free care and deception-free beauty, and he has a philosophy of "healthy teeth in a healthy body." A graduate of Université de Montréal, he continually renews his knowledge through courses offered at the well-known Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and through other training programs in Canada, the United States and Europe. Dr. Lechner is involved in various associations such as the Ordre des denturologistes du Québec, the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec, the Montréal Dental Club and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is fluently bilingual and has a passion for clay and bronze sculpture, Japanese-style gardening, herbalism, sailing and cooking.
Dr. Aissa, a dental surgeon, is a graduate of Université de Montréal and a member of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec and of the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec. Constantly attuned to patients' concerns, and always aware of the latest technology, Dr. Aissa is gentle and highly meticulous, attaching special importance to dental esthetics. Her favourite pastimes are painting, design and fine dining. She shares her life with her veterinarian husband, her young daughter and her dog, a Great Dane.
With a doctoral degree in dentistry from Université de Montréal, Dr. de Palma Chevalier has a special interest in periodontal surgery, implants and rotating endodontics. He is a perfectionist who offers his patients a detail oriented approach and working precision. He particularly likes fixed partials (crowns and bridges) and dental surgery. A volunteer in several associations and organizations such as the Colloque international des étudiants en médecine dentaire de l'Université de Montréal, the UNICEF mentoring program and the Société Saint-Vincent-de-Paul to name a few, Dr Toby de Palma Chevalier has been granted several scholarships and honours. He was also a tennis instructor at the Académie de Tennis Cloutier Jousselin (ATCJ) for five years.
With a dentistry degree from Université de Montréal and a U.S. and Canadian patent in implantology, Dr. Piché, founder of the Piché et Associés dental centres, works in a multidisciplinary practice with a focus on orthodontics and implantology. With his concern for oral health and patient comfort, he is an advocate of pain-free dentistry. A founding member of the CEGOO (Club d'Étude des Généralistes en Orthopédie et Orthodontie) study circle and a member of the International Association for Orthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he also obtained a certificate in implantology from the Brånemark Institute. The father of two children, a sportsman and a traveller, Dr. Piché likes skiing, golfing and sailing.
Dr. Krychman is an experienced periodontist with more than 20 years in dentistry. In addition to being a key member of the Prisma team, he is Director of the Department of Periodontics at Montréal's Jewish General Hospital. He holds a DDS (doctor of dental surgery) degree from McGill University and a certificate in periodontics from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Krychman is a member of the Association des parodontistes du Québec, the Canadian Academy of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontology. He keeps up to date on all new advances in his field and includes empathy and punctuality among his strengths. As a person of generosity, he contributes in several ways to the Montréal Association for the Blind and the Mackay Centre. When not looking after his patients, he can be found on the golf course.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Buithieu has more than 20 years of experience in pediatric medicine, with a master's degree in dental science, a certificate in pediatric dentistry and various professional development courses to her credit. An Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Université de Montréal, Dr. Buithieu is an adept of pain-free dentistry. She blends experience, knowledge, dexterity and human warmth. In addition, she knows how to educate children about dental health without preaching, and to care for young patients without traumatizing them. This mother of three includes tennis, bicycle racing, telemarking and skiing among her other passions.
Dr. Côté, a denturologist with BPS (biofunctional prosthetic system) certification, can meet all needs in dental prostheses and other challenges of the mouth and teeth: partial or complete biofunctional prostheses, rebasing or relining, etc. Familiar with the latest technologies and paying great attention to detail, Dr. Côté listens carefully to his patients, providing patience and sound advice.
